The current trends in the field of Information Technology centres around interaction and communication of information in an efficient and secured manner. This trend is further reinforced by the spread of technology to more devices, resulting in demands for job in core and allied sectors including areas of information security, cloud computing, IT management and many more. The departmental curriculum provides students with the knowledge of current Information Technology areas, software, applications and induces job skills required to sustain in the IT market.
