Vision

To produce Cybersecurity professionals who are technically proficient, ethically grounded,and capable of proactively safeguarding the digital future.

Mission

  1. The Cybersecurity department will produce highly skilled professionals capable of identifying, preventing, and mitigating cyber security risks, while contributing to a more secure digital world
  2. Our mission is to empower the next generation of Cybersecurity professionals with the knowledge, skills, and ethical standards needed to defend against cyber threats
  3. We strive to provide cutting-edge education, foster innovation, and promote collaboration with industry and government to develop and implement solutions that safeguard digital assets, ensure privacy, and mitigate risks in an increasingly connected world.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) for Cybersecurity:

  1. Students will demonstrate the ability to apply Cybersecurity principles, tools, and techniques to effectively protect and defend systems, networks, and data in various organizational settings.
  2. Students will be equipped with the skills to stay current with emerging Cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, ensuring they can address new challenges in the rapidly changing digital landscape.
  3. Students will practice Cybersecurity in alignment with ethical guidelines, legal requirements, and privacy principles, contributing to responsible decision-making and the protection of digital assets.
  4. Students will demonstrate the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, communicating complex Cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while collaborating to design and implement secure systems
