The department has modern laboratories and support facilities in all the major areas of Electronics & Communication. These include: Digital Electronics, Microprocessor, Antenna Design, Analog and Digital Communication, Wireless Networking, VLSI Design.
VLSI Design Lab: The department has well equipped VLSI Design Lab. Area of research are in VLSI Lab consists of full custom Application Specific Integrated circuits (ASIC) and processors involving analog, digital and mixed signal processing.
Communication Laboratory: The communication laboratories are well equipped with Analog Communication Kits (like Amplitude Modulation & Demodulation,Frequency Modulation & Demodulation) and Digital Communication Kits (like PCM, DM, PPM, ADM, ASK, FSK, PSK &QAM). Cosmism Software is also available in the laboratory for designing of wired, wireless and mobile communication systems.
Signal Processing Laboratory: This laboratory is equipped to provide both fundamental and advanced concepts in a variety of signal processing domains like image & video processing, audio & speech processing, machine vision, communications, digital control etc. The lab is provided with high-end systems capable of handling all DSP related tasks, and are loaded with the latest version of MATLAB and associated tool boxes.
Administrative Block: Established in year 2008, having Chairman’s Room, Director’s Room, Assistant Director’s Room, Principal’s Room, Accounts Department, Examination Department, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Department of Science and Humanities and Library.
